Republic day celebration
Republic day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the college faculty and students. The celebration began early in the morning around 7.30 a.m. The national flag was unfurled and a speech was delivered by the Principal Dr. Anil Adsule. Dr Adsule delivered a speech on the history behind the Republic day and shared India’s journey towards becoming independent Republic. He echoed the ideals of our constitution and spoke on our unity in diversity and patriotism. The campus was decorated with posters, balloons and wall hangings and reflected a patriotic spirit amongst the members.
Faculty Development Program on NEP
The college had organized a faculty development program on the topic of “National Education Policy 2020” from 12.30 p.m. till 3.00 pm on Wednesday 18th January 2023. The talk was delivered by Dr. A. P. Kulkarni, who delivered an engaging lecture, familiarizing the faculty members with the nuances of NEP and its intended benefits for the students, faculty members and the country as a whole. The Resource person demonstrated that the NEP will benefit all stakeholders by increasing the access to education, and create an environment in which there would be Equity, Quality and Accountability. After the talk he answered queries and concerns by the faculty members. The resource person and the faculty members also discussed ways in which the NEP could be implemented effectively in the coming five years thereby benefitting the institution and the students.
