Felicitation ceremony of the speakers of interfaith seminar.
St Vincent college in collaboration with Snehasadan – Institute for the study of religion, hosted a thought-provoking program, “Humanity Our Religion,” on the 9th of May 2023. This program aimed at challenging the stereotypical notions of religion. The program explored the potential for shared human values, like empathy and compassion, to act as a unifying force. Discussions centered on ethics, social justice, and building a better world. Students engaged with guest speakers and faculty, reflecting on how these values can guide their lives and contribute to a more just and harmonious society. This program offered a unique perspective on the role of meaning and purpose in the modern world. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Jesuit Provincial Fr. Agnelo Mascarenhas SJ. The speakers of the inter faith seminar were felicitated by the college for their dedicated commitment to promoting religious harmony and understanding through their lectures.
