Tally and Zoho Books Course




St. Vincent College organized a 30-hour training course on Tally and Zoho Books, in collaboration with the Bibvewadi branch of ICA. The program aimed to equip students with essential accounting and financial management skills using these industry-standard software tools.
The course focused on practical applications of Tally, including ledger creation, voucher entries, and generating financial statements, providing students with hands-on experience in computerized accounting. Simultaneously, the Zoho Books module introduced students to cloud-based accounting practices, covering invoice creation, tax compliance, and real-time financial tracking.
Teachers Day Celebration


On September 5th, the students of St. Vincent College celebrated Teachers’ Day with heartfelt enthusiasm. As a token of gratitude, they presented roses and chocolates to their teachers, expressing their appreciation for their dedication and guidance.
The event featured students sharing their experiences and speaking about the vital role teachers play in shaping their lives. The celebrations reflected the deep respect and admiration students hold for their mentors, making it a memorable occasion.
Interreligious Talk on the topic “What is the importance given to Nature or the Earth in my Religion?” by Dr. Sunitha

Jain An insightful Online Interreligious Talk on the topic “What is the importance given to Nature or the Earth in my Religion?” was held on Saturday, 14th September 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM IST via Zoom. The session featured Dr. Sunitha Jain, an esteemed scholar holding an M.A. and Ph.D. in Jainology from the University of Madras, Chennai. She presented the topic from the perspective of Jainism, offering profound insights into its ecological ethos. The session underscored the synergy between spiritual wisdom and environmental consciousness.
Inauguration of Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Centre
On 3rd August 2024, St. Vincent College marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of the Acharya Chanakya Kaushalya Vikas Kendra (ACKVK), a new training centre established in collaboration with District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre (DSDE & EGC), Pune. The initiative aims to empower youth with skill development and entrepreneurial training under the Pramod Mahajan Kaushalya and Udyojakta Vikas Abhiyan.
The inauguration also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between St. Vincent College’s training partner – ACKVK and DSDE & EGC, Pune. The partnership reaffirms the college’s commitment to equipping students with industry-relevant skills and promoting entrepreneurship.
NAAC Peer Team Visit to St. Vincent College








The NAAC Peer Team visit to St. Vincent College was conducted over two days with a focus on validating the Self-Study Report (SSR) and assessing various institutional practices. The visit was structured to evaluate the college’s performance across the seven NAAC criteria and ensure alignment with the quality benchmarks.
The two-day NAAC Peer Team visit was a comprehensive evaluation of St. Vincent College’s academic, administrative, and infrastructural performance. The visit highlighted the institution’s strengths in curriculum delivery, research, governance, and student support, while also identifying areas for further enhancement. The Peer Team’s feedback will serve as a roadmap for continuous improvement as the college moves toward achieving its academic and institutional goals.
This visit reaffirmed the college’s commitment to quality education and holistic development, fostering an environment of excellence aligned with NAAC’s core values.
Feast of St. Vincent de Paul Patron Saint of St. Vincent College




On 27th September 2024, St. Vincent College, a Jesuit institution, celebrated the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, honouring the life and legacy of the patron saint of charity, compassion, and service. The event was organized to inspire students and staff to emulate St. Vincent’s values of selfless service to the poor and marginalized. The celebration included a special address by the Director, a Holy Mass, and the inauguration of the relief art of St. Vincent.
